On July 4-5, the 18th Meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on trade and economic cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Nur-Sultan.
The delegations headed by co-chairs of the Intergovernmental Commission, Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Sultanov attended at the meeting.
Within the visit to Nur-Sultan a meeting was also held between Parviz Shahbazov and Bolat Akchulakov, the Energy Minister of Kazakhstan.
Bilateral cooperation in the field of energy, including issues of the transit of hydrocarbon fuels were discussed during the talks.
SOCAR Midstream was also represented at these meetings.
